Food
We’ve got an obsessive commitment to home-grown and local produce: simple food done well
It’s all about the Kitchen Garden
We have an obsessive commitment to home-grown and local produce at THE PIG-at Bridge Place. We celebrate the seasons and use only the best, freshest and most authentic foods and ingredients. Our surroundings influence our food in every way, what cannot be grown in our Kitchen Garden is sourced from within a 25-mile radius.
Everything is driven by our Gardener and Forager. They grow and find the food, our Chef then creates the menu.
Our commitment to a 25 mile menu not only supports our local suppliers, but means we can be 100% honest on the provenance of our ingredients. Our local suppliers are some of the most exciting and inspiring artisan producers out there! Kent’s distinctive character and unique combination of agricultural farmland, ancient orchards, newly planted vineyards and history of hop growing, all within casting distance of the sea, means THE PIG-at Bridge Place has access to some of the freshest local fish, locally brewed beers, amazing meats, delicious fruit and award-winning English wines in the country!
The Restaurant
25 Mile Menu & Kitchen Garden Produce
Our open-plan and characterful restaurant dishes up British Kitchen Garden food, true to the micro seasons and with a real focus on simple and fresh flavours.
Garden Oven
Wood-fired Flat Breads & Tipples
Right in the heart of the walled Kitchen Garden, our rustic and reclaimed outdoor kitchen is now open! Head over the rickety bridge, past the summer sprouting, through the greenhouse, and onto our Garden Oven to find wood-fired cooking and tasty tipples.
Menus
Our commitment to a 25 mile menu not only supports our local suppliers, but means we can be 100% honest on the provenance of our ingredients.

Supplier Shout Out
Over the years we have been lucky to support some of the very best local suppliers to each of THE PIG hotels. What ever our Kitchen Garden teams are unable to grow themselves we source from within a 25 mile radius - creating our 25 mile menu. We love who we work with and carefully select them so we can be 100% honest on the provenance of our ingredients, and be sure that what we are dishing up is the very best around. Take a look below if you want to support our network and shop local!
