Food & Drink
That’s where it all started. We’ve got an obsessive commitment to home-grown and local produce: simple food done well.
Kitchen Garden to Plate
This is a place where everything is driven by produce from the garden - on any given day. The menus will change by the minute, depending on what the forager supplies and what our Kitchen Garden team deems to be in perfect condition.
Our food style is driven by home grown clarity of flavour, true to the seasons and influenced by location, tucked away in the heart of Hampshire countryside.
Our commitment to a 25 mile menu not only supports our local suppliers, but means we can be 100% honest on the provenance of our ingredients.
The Restaurant
25 Mile Menu & Kitchen Garden Produce
Our restaurant in the heart of the house dishes up British Kitchen Garden food, true to the micro seasons and with a real focus on simple and fresh flavours.
Wood Oven
Drop-in flatbreads & chilled tipples on the terrace
Straight from our wood-fired oven we serve smoky flatbreads with a mix of delicious toppings to choose from throughout the warmer months on our terrace.
Menus
Our commitment to a 25 mile menu not only supports our local suppliers, but means we can be 100% honest on the provenance of our ingredients.
Take a look at our menus to get a feel for what we may be dishing up. Please note these are subject to change.
Discover our tipples from garden to glass...
Whether you’re joining us first thing for a Garden Bloody Mary pick-me-up or a late nightcap, we will smash, muddle, blend, shake and throw our way to making you your perfect drink. All of our cocktails are designed with the Kitchen Garden in mind.
Like our restaurant, our aim is to provide high quality products in the most sustainable, local and resourceful way possible.
Our location means we are lucky enough to be surrounded by some award-winning artisan breweries, wineries and distilleries, and you will find them all on our Bar List. Just drop by for a tipple or two on the terrace or cosy up in our bar lounge during the colder months.
English Wine
Wine brings people together – it is the perfect blend!
Loving local is in our DNA, and when it comes to wine we love nothing more than fruit from our own soil. We believe that wine and food are all about sharing good times with family and friends, cracking open a bottle and settling into an evening together; wine is very much at the heart of THE PIG experience.

Supplier Shout Out
Over the years we have been lucky to support some of the very best local suppliers to each of THE PIG hotels. What ever our Kitchen Garden teams are unable to grow themselves we source from within a 25 mile radius - creating our 25 mile menu. We love who we work with and carefully select them so we can be 100% honest on the provenance of our ingredients, and be sure that what we are dishing up is the very best around. Take a look below if you want to support our network and shop local!

Our 25-Mile Menu
Hampshire's distinctive character and unique combination of ancient woodland and agricultural farmland, all within casting distance of the sea, means THE PIG has access to some of the freshest local fish, amazing meats, award-winning cheeses and English wines in the country. Here are just some of our friends...
-
Breadport Bakery
10 miles away
A local favourite. From sweet treats to savoury bakes, this Hampshire bakery produces a variety of excellent sourdough breads, loaves and delicate pastries, baked just on the edge of the New Forest. -
T Bartlett & Son
8 miles away
This third-generation family butcher provides us with high-quality meat, including the popular Hampshire chorizo, as well as pancetta, coppa, air-dried hams, lomo, bresaola and salami. -
Fluffetts Farm
12 miles away
Fluffetts Farm supplies us with fresher than fresh eggs, never compromising on the welfare of their hens. They believe free-range eggs should only come from carefully-managed flocks. With yolks brighter than the sun, we love Fluffets' eggs for poaching, scrambling or dipping! -
Romsey Pork Farm
14 miles away
These pigs have a seriously happy life. They live outdoors in the woods, with the option of shelter whenever they need it, leaving them to root to their hearts’ content! -
Lyburn Cheese
16 miles away
Lyburn Farm makes a variety of different hand made cheeses, all of which are made from their own cows' milk. Our favourite? The award-winning Lyburn Gold; an 8-12 week ripened cheese with a creamy smooth texture dotted with tiny holes. -
Hambledon Vineyard
38 miles away
A little further than 25 miles, but Hambledon Vineyard is England’s oldest commercial vineyard, comprised of over 50 acres of land - and the only gravity-fed, state-of-the-art winery in the UK. We love our pouring wine, the Classic Cuvée.
