The availability shown online for THE PIG in the New Forest is live and always up-to-date. If you can’t find the date you’re after, please email reservations@thepighotel.com so we can add you to our waiting list.

However, it’s worth checking out our other properties as we may have rooms or tables available elsewhere.

THE PIG welcomes well-behaved dogs to stay in a small number of rooms across most of our hotels, excluding THE PIG-in the wall and THE PIG-on the beach*. We kindly ask owners to help us respect the sensitivities of all our guests and staff by asking you to follow our Dog House Rules to avoid ending up in the doghouse! We do not permit dogs inside the restaurants, although they are welcome to join you on a stroll around the grounds or for outdoor dining. Please note at THE PIG-in the wall we only permit guide dogs into the property.

Children are more than welcome at THE PIG in the New Forest, both in the restaurant and to stay. At THE PIG in the New Forest we have family specific rooms, lodges and cottages.

We’ll never tell you what to wear. Our restaurant at THE PIG in the New Forest is informal and relaxed, so come in whatever makes you happy and comfortable.

Breakfast: Typically for residents only from 7-10am Monday-Friday and 7.30-10.30am on Saturday and Sunday

Lunch: 12pm-2.30pm Monday to Friday, and 12pm-3pm Saturday to Sunday.

Dinner: 6pm-9.30pm Monday to Thursday, and 6pm-9.45pm Friday to Sunday

Afternoon: We don't serve a traditional afternoon tea, however we do offer an afternoon menu of homemade piggy treats and sweet treats. Our Afternoon menu is served from 12pm-5:30pm in our lounge areas and on our outside terrace.

Wood Oven: The Wood Oven is open daily 12pm-5pm.

Lunch bookings are advised, however, Dinner bookings are essential! Please note we do not take bookings for the Wood Oven or Afternoon Menu.

THE PIG in the New Forest is a great place to hold a party. Our Green Room seats up to 14 people and even has its own garden terrace. Find out more here. For anything bigger, whether it’s a wedding or any other event, we do offer an exclusive-use package from £50,000. The package is available for Monday-Thursdays between October-November and January-March, subject to availability. We offer monetary vouchers, as well as a lunch, dinner and treatment vouchers. These can be purchased here. 

Please kindly note that you are unable to redeem a gift voucher online to make a booking. Please book your room as normal and the team will refund any pre-payments with proof of your voucher. Please just contact reservations@thepighotel.com

Unless we are running a special deal and it is stated within the terms, all of our rates are on a room only basis so are inclusive of VAT only.

Breakfast at THE PIG in the New Forest is served in the restaurant where you can choose to either dig into our PIG grazing breakfast tables or pick something hot from our breakfast menus. Prices range from £16.95-£20.95.

You can check in from 3pm at THE PIG in the New Forest, however, you’re more than welcome to arrive earlier to drop off your luggage and explore the gardens. 

Check out is by 11am. We ask that you leave your room by this time, but please enjoy the surroundings all day. We can’t guarantee an early check-in or late check-out, but stick around and let us know your plans and we will try our best on the day.

Please note our rates stated are at a starting from price, and fluctuate throughout the year depending on season. We sometimes run offers and Late Pig Room Rates.

We currently have two Universal 11kw electrical charging points for vehicles at THE PIG in the New Forest if you require charging during your visit. These are free of charge to use for PIG guests, fully compatible with all electric cars. Full charge for your car will depend on the size of your battery e.g. a 40kw battery will be fully charged within 4-5 hours. Please note you will need to bring your own charging lead, and once your car is fully charged we ask you move it to a regular parking space.

Restaurant: Please speak to our Restaurant Team at THE PIG in the New Forest if you have any questions about the menu, allergies or dietary requirements when you arrive.

Wood Oven: Please advise your server of any allergies or dietary restrictions. We cannot make gluten-free flatbreads as the oven will be used for the regular flatbreads so there is guaranteed cross-contamination. 

Getting there from here is key to many in determining a happy holiday. Access to major highways and high-quality public transportation at a fair cost are two vital factors for choosing a place to stay. Brockenhurst is perfectly positioned for easy access by car or train. By car, it's just 30 minutes from Southampton and under 15 minutes from Lymington. Alternatively, the mainline train station in Brockenhurst offers quick connections to nearby cities, including Bournemouth (just 9 minutes away) and London Waterloo (approximately 1 hour 48 minutes to 2 hours).
