Join us over at THE PIG-in the South Downs to get in the Christmas spirit with our wreath making workshop, hosted by our very own West Sussex local, Charlotte Johnston – with a festive PIG supper to follow!

We’ll welcome you into our Garden Room, tucked beside the hustle and bustle of the restaurant overlooking our very own vineyard, with a perfectly chilled glass of English fizz. Charlotte will demonstrate and guide you through making your very own Christmas wreath to take home (and we’ll top up your glass, so there will be heaps of festive cheer to go around!)

After you’ve created your wreath, settle into the restaurant (if you've booked with friends or family, we'll make sure you're sat together!) for a comforting three-course festive supper from our Chef’s Picks menu to round off the evening, gathered around a table with your favourite people.

You'll head into the restaurant for supper from 6.15pm, and there’s no rush and no hard end time – take your time and enjoy the evening! You’re always welcome to keep the night going with a cheeky tipple or two in the bar afterwards.

A welcome glass of fizz (and a top up, of course!), and everything you need to create your own festive wreath – plus, a three-course festive supper in our restaurant from our Chef’s Picks set menu*.

After the workshop, you'll dine in the restaurant with your friends or family you've booked with at your very own table.

*Drinks with dinner are payable separately.

Meet your hosts: Charlotte Johnston Floral

Charlotte Johnston is a flower grower and florist dedicated to sustainability, seasonality, and working in harmony with nature. She cultivates her flowers without chemicals or single-use plastics, employing methods that support soil health and biodiversity. With a background in gardening, Charlotte trained in floristry in 2016 to deepen her understanding of design and technique.

During the pandemic, customers began sending her flowers to loved ones, marking the start of her flower-growing business. Since then, she has continued to refine her practice, experimenting with new varieties for the market and drying flowers to create everlasting arrangements year-round.
