Characterful PIG Rooms
Each PIG has a unique mix of bedrooms - because every PIG is different!
Comfy Rooms
Tucked away in the Stableyard, just a few steps from the main house, this big bedroom is ideal for a couple’s getaway or two people sharing. There is a monsoon shower in the separate bathroom and cosy armchairs in the bedroom to sink into and relax. The Comfy bedroom is all on one level, on the ground floor, and is accessed from the outside.
Snug Rooms
Our snug rooms are comfortable hideaways that are perfect for two people sharing. With a cosy bed, these rooms have an open plan layout and separate bathrooms with monsoon showers.
Extremely Small
Our cosiest room with plenty of original character has a large comfy bed and a fitted shower. This room is a great size for a couple or two children sharing. If you are looking for something a little more spacious, we would recommend booking a Comfy room.
Big Comfy Luxe
These very large bedrooms have plenty of space for you to make yourself at home and are flooded with lots of natural light and high ceilings. Each one has a comfy super-king bed and cosy seating areas, as well as large bathrooms with a freestanding bath and monsoon shower. Some Big Comfy Luxe rooms have the bathtub in the bedroom and original features such as exposed beams and views of the gardens.
Even Bigger Comfy Luxe
The biggest bedrooms in the main house of THE PIG-in the Cotswolds. These very special rooms are nestled in the main house, and each have views over Rosemary Verey’s original arts and crafts style gardens. Each one has its own special character – from double sinks in the large bathrooms and steps leading into the bedrooms, to high ceilings and exposed original beams. All of them have really comfortable super-king beds, separate cosy seating areas and very spacious bathrooms with freestanding baths and large monsoon showers.
Comfy Luxe Rooms
These large bedrooms are nestled in the main house and The Close, the original annexe that Rosemary Verey lived in for a time. With cosy beds and original features such as rustic exposed beams. All the rooms have big freestanding bathtubs either within the bedroom or in the large bathroom, as well as separate monsoon showers. Comfy Luxe bedrooms are both on the first floor and on the ground floor – which is accessed from outside.

The Secret Garden
Tucked away in the heart of Rosemary Verey’s original gardens, this is a real ‘wow’ room! A secluded private getaway separate from the main house, with its own walled garden and plenty of room to relax and unwind. The big freestanding bathtub is in the very spacious bedroom, where you’ll find a comfy super-king bed – and in the separate lounge area, there are plenty of sink-in armchairs and seating to really make yourself at home in the heart of the original arts and crafts style gardens.
The Potting Shed
A private hideaway in the heart of the English countryside, away from the main house with views out onto the original Potager Garden. This very comfortable room has its own separate lounge area with squishy armchairs that are just perfect for cosying up in front of the warming log burner. The Potting Shed has its own private terrace to relax on, and a separate bedroom with a very comfortable big bed. It’s the perfect escape for two.
Rosemary's Hideaway
With its own private outdoor entrance tucked away at the back of the house beside the original ornamental gardens, Rosemary’s Hideaway is the perfect, spacious bedroom for gathering friends and family. This show-stopper room has a separate lounge with comfy areas to relax in and a separate, private dining area with a sunroof to gather your favourite people together. This hideaway has its own secluded outdoor space to relax in, and a separate bedroom with a very comfortable super-king bed.

Home Farm House
Our three-bedroom cottage is over the road from the main house, just a few doors down from The Village Pub. Home Farm House has a character of its own, much less PIG and more traditional Cotswold cottage - it's the perfect place to bring the whole family, or your favourite people, together. The large master bedroom has its own ensuite with a big shower and a bathtub, and the two remaining bedrooms are very spacious with super-king beds (one of which can be made into twins), and plenty of space to make yourself at home. There is a family bathroom with a big shower and a bathtub, two cosy lounges, a separate dining room and a kitchen with a large kitchen table at the heart of it to gather round and relax. Outside, you have your own private garden and plenty of off-road parking.

The bedrooms at THE PIG-in the Cotswolds are some of the most spacious in the litter. The rooms are spread across the main house overlooking the gardens, the large honey-stone Stableyard, and some very special rooms tucked away in the peace and quiet of the gardens.
Each bedroom has been sensitively restored to keep the character and original features of the genuinely unspoilt, listed building, while still being classically PIG; rich, cosy and indulgent fabrics, super comfy beds, reclaimed textures, roll top baths and larders filled with delicious tipples and treats.
With some of the largest rooms across THE PIGs, many of the rooms have serious wow factor. Huge bathrooms, views to die for, original features, private terraces, but all with the undisputed familiarity of a PIG.

Bringing dogsTHE PIG welcomes well-behaved dogs to stay in a small number of rooms across most of our hotels, excluding THE PIG-in the wall and THE PIG-on the beach*. We kindly ask owners to help us respect the sensitivities of all our guests and staff by asking you to follow our Dog House Rules to avoid ending up in the doghouse! We do not permit dogs inside the restaurants, although they are welcome to join you on a stroll around the grounds or for outdoor dining. Please note at THE PIG-in the wall we only permit guide dogs into the property.
Dress codeWe’ll never tell you what to wear. Stepping into this very special house feels like coming to visit your great Aunt Rosemary – it’s cosy, homely and, like all of the PIGs, our restaurant is informal and relaxed. So, come in whatever makes you happy and comfortable
Food service timesBreakfast: Typically for residents only from 7-10:15 am Monday to Sunday.
Lunch: 12pm-2.30pm Monday to Friday, and 12pm-3pm Saturday to Sunday.
Dinner: 6pm-9.30pm Monday to Sunday
Afternoon: We don't serve a traditional afternoon tea.

Breakfast at THE PIG-in the Cotswolds is served in the restaurant where you can choose to either dig into our PIG grazing breakfast tables or pick something hot from our breakfast menus. Prices range from £16.95-£20.95.
Checking in and outYou can check in from 3pm at THE PIG-in the Cotswolds, however you’re more than welcome to arrive earlier to drop off your luggage and explore the beautiful, listed gardens.
Check out is by 11am. We ask that you leave your room by this time, but please feel free to stay and enjoy the surroundings all day.
We can’t guarantee an early check-in or late check-out, but let us know your plans as early as possible and we will try our very best to accommodate you.
AccessibilityTHE PIG-in the Cotswolds is a 17th century Grade II property with original listed gardens – so our paths and grounds are protected and very higgeldy-piggeldy. There are gravel tracks around the property and the restaurant has steps on both entry points, but we have a ramp available for wheelchair access – please contact us in advance by completing our online form, using our live chat system, or by emailing us at reservations@thepighotel.com
RatesPlease note our rates stated are at a starting from price, and fluctuate throughout the year depending on season. We sometimes run offers and Late Pig Room Rates.
Table bookingsIf you are booking a table we need credit card details to secure your reservation, but don’t worry we won’t take payment at this time. If you don’t arrive for your booking there will be a no-show fee of £25 per person auto-charged to your card.
Electric Vehicle ChargingWe currently have three 7KW Pod Point electrical charging points for vehicles at THE PIG-in the Cotswolds if you require charging during your visit. You will need to use the POD Point App to access the charger, and will be charged 75p per kWh of charge; overnight charging is required for full charge. Charging will require use of the Pod Point app and a registered account - this can be found at https://pod-point.com/products/driver/app. These POD charging points are fully compatible with all electric cars but please note you must bring your own charging lead. Once your car is fully charged we ask you move it to a regular parking space.
